Lisa Black, MEd, CACII
Ms. Black has over 20 years of experience in the treatment of substance use disorders and HIV care management. She has served as a technical assistance expert on the Medication Assisted Treatment and Prescription Drug Overdose Abuse (SAMHSA) project. She has provided technical assistance to over twenty-four states, the evaluation of technical assistance, technical assistance implementation and grantee guidance. She has developed technical assistance for grantee telehealth meetings, training publications, media campaigns, marketing campaigns, community pharmacotherapy education, program strategy, stakeholder engagement strategies, fiscal management, quality of life measures, capacity building, specialty populations, state-specific conference planning to include; coordination efforts for medical, clinical, criminal justice and pregnant and postpartum women educational tracks. She also served as technical assistance expert for the Behavioral Health and HIV Technical Assistance Center (BH-HIVTAC) for CSAP/CSAT grantees. In addition to serving as training manager for Southeast Addiction Technology Transfer Center, she has served as a nonprofit addiction professional, and cultural diversity and inclusion consultant for the southern region for over 15 years.
Ms. Black earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work in 1999, from University of Memphis; Master’s Degree in Education with a minor in Counseling from Troy State University in 2005; and she is a credentialed Advance Certified Addiction Counselor. Ms. Black is currently Senior Associate, Substance Use Disorder & Community Engagement for Bizzell.
